Fleet & Facilities As one of the Northeast’s largest privately-owned motorcoach operators, we proudly transport more than 300,000 passengers each year. We feature a fleet of 22 Prevost and MCI motorcoaches with seating capacities ranging from 47 to 55 passengers that will transport your group almost anywhere in the USA or Canada. Our Hornell, NY headquarters and satellite offices in Avon and Olean provide our customers increased flexibility geographically to meet their chartered motorcoach needs. Our 18,500 square foot office and maintenance facility in Hornell houses our experienced team of dispatch, mechanical, cleaning, safety and management professionals. Our Safety Record The Pupil Transportation Safety Program lists Covered Wagon Tours as one of their approved carriers indicating our company is doing an excellent job in maintaining compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. We’ve exceeded the NYSDOT’s goal of having at least 90% of our vehicles pass their semi-annual bus safety inspections. Our “1” rating from Consolidated Safety Services indicates our company is doing an outstanding job in maintaining compliance with both the Department of Defense (DOD) Military Bus Agreement and the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations. All Covered Wagon Tours motorcoach drivers are “19-A Certified” enabling them to transport schoolchildren. All drivers are fingerprinted, safety-trained, and undergo regular physical examinations including drug & alcohol testing. Proud Member of I.M.G. IMG consists of 54 privately-owned motorcoach operators throughout the USA and Canada that must meet stringent standards of performance and is by invitation only.
