Our Safety Record
The Pupil Transportation Safety Program lists Covered Wagons Tours
as one of their approved carriers indicating our company is doing an
excellent job in maintaining compliance with the Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Regulations. We’ve exceeded the NYSDOT’s goal of
having at least 90% of our vehicles pass their semi-annual bus
safety inspections. Our “1” rating from Consolidated Safety Services
indicates our company is doing an outstanding job in maintaining
compliance with both the Department of Defense (DOD) Military Bus
Agreement and the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations. All Covered
Wagon Tours motorcoach drivers are “19-A Certified” enabling them to
transport schoolchildren. All drivers are fingerprinted,
safety-trained, and undergo regular physical examinations including
drug & alcohol testing.

Motorcoach Group (IMG). IMG consists of 54 privately-owned
motorcoach operators throughout the USA and Canada that must meet
stringent standards of performance and is by invitation only. IMG

of member network support for service, maintenance, cleanliness and
additional equipment throughout the country.
